NW24 SEN Summit:

posted 14 Nov 2016, 14:33 by NW24 Admin   [ updated 14 Nov 2016, 14:34 ]
Lead by NW24 we intend to address changes to SEND funding that may impact provision within our schools.
We have the opportunity to hear first hand, an overview of current SEN and high needs funding and provision in Bristol, brought to us by Paul Jacobs, Service Director, Education and Skills, Bristol City Council and Annette Jones, Head of Specialist Education and Access, Bristol City Council.
This is an opportunity to understand why SEN provision is in the position it is, the reality now and future projection.
We believe that NW24 has influence: through bringing together stakeholder-groups we have an opportunity to shape Local Authority thinking with a selection of constructive and creative and well thought ideas, that may provide direction, guidance, organisation and proactive facilitation between us, and thereby provide delivery of the highest quality education we can for all pupils.
Join us, participate, collaborate on Monday 21st November, 12midday - 5pm at Engineers House, The Promenade, Clifton Down, BS8 3NB
